Additional Information on Eligibility:
Colleges and universities located in the U.S. and its territories with degree-granting programs in computer science, mathematics, materials science, chemistry, biology, engineering, and/or physics. Each applicant U.S. college or university is limited to nominating no more than eight (8) undergraduate students per college or university for participation in the SURF NIST Boulder Programs. Each undergraduate student nominated to participate in the SURF Boulder Programs from the applicant college or university must meet eligibility requirements in Section III.1 of the FFO/Full Announcement.

NIST Boulder is soliciting applications from eligible colleges and universities located in the U.S. and its territories nominating undergraduate students to participate in the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) NIST Boulder Programs (SURF NIST Boulder Programs). The SURF NIST Boulder Programs will provide research opportunities for undergraduate students to work with internationally known NIST scientists, to expose them to cutting-edge research, and to promote the pursuit of graduate degrees in science and engineering.
