Subject to the availability of funds, the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL), Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB), intends to award, through a competitive and merit-based process, one or more cooperative agreements to organizations to implement project(s) in Colombia (South America) that aim to support Colombia’s efforts to reduce child labor. The OPS anticipates publishing the Solicitation for Grant Applications (SGA) on or about 10 May 2013 (this date is subject to change). “Organizations wishing to express their interest in submitting applications for Federal funds are requested to provide the following information to ops.grantoffice@dol.gov: organization name, address, and contact information. The email subject line should read: NOI-Colombia-organization’s name (e.g., NOI Colombia – USDOL).”Please refer to: http://www.dol.gov/ilab/grants/SGAguidelines.htm and http://www.dol.gov/ILAB/grants/main.htm#201210091 for general guidelines and examples of previous cooperative agreement applications. This NOI does not include a solicitation (SGA) or any attachments. It only constitutes a notice of US DOL’s intent to publish a SGA at a later date. Interested applicants are encouraged to monitor www.grants.gov for the solicitation, as this is the method by which it will be made available to the public. No email or paper copies will be provided.
