Description

This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) encourages applications from organizations that propose creative and innovative institutional research training programs in the mission area(s) of the NICHD. The purpose of the training program is to help ensure that a diverse pool of highly trained scientists is available in appropriate scientific disciplines to address the nations biomedical, behavioral, and clinical research needs. The goals of this training program are: (1) to encourage and support training in pediatric and/or obstetric pharmacoepidemiology; and (2) to produce a well-qualified cadre of academic investigators who are capable of conducting pharmacoepidemiologic research in children and/or pregnant women.
