This Funding Announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the Bureau of Reclamation’s intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition.

Description

Under this co-operative agreement with the UI, a framework for evaluating aquifer sustainability along with a sustainability index will be developed. In addition, four Reclamation project areas will be evaluated using the framework. The framework and sustainability index will be applicable to aquifer systems associated with regulated water systems throughout the Western US and the four Reclamation project areas will serve as examples as to how the framework can be applied.
