Eligible applicants must be either: a US Private Voluntary Organization (PVO) registered with USAID (a PVO must be registered before an application may be submitted in response to this RFA); a U.S. nonprofit farm organization; a US agricultural cooperative; a private U.S. agribusiness or agriculturally-related business or consulting firm; or a U. S. college, university or foundation maintained by a college or university. Applicants must also have within the past five (5) years a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in planning, managing, monitoring and reporting on international agricultural development programs

Description

The United States Government (USG), as represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Bureau for Food Security (BFS), Office of Country Strategy and Implementation Support (CSI) is seeking applications (proposals) from qualified and eligible organizations to implement the Farmer-to-Farmer (F2F) Special Program Support Project (SPSP) program. The Farmer-to-Farmer (F2F) Special Program Support Project (SPSP) program for which applications are requested by this RFA, will continue to provide for US voluntary assistance for economic growth in the agricultural sector and will promote voluntary technical assistance and people-to-people engagement in international agricultural development, strengthen F2F Programs funded under other mechanisms; expand opportunities for new organizations and individuals to participate in the F2F Program; and contribute to international agriculture and rural development.
