Description
The Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region, intends to issue a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) for a Grant/Cooperative Agreement pursuant to the authority of Public Law 111-11, San Joaquin River Restoration Settlement Act, Title X, Subtitle A, Part III, Section 10202. The principal feature of the work is to invite local agencies within the Central Valley Project to leverage their money and resources by cost sharing with Reclamation on ground water banking projects that provide water supply benefits and provide water in Millerton Lake for the benefit of multiple Friant Division long-term contractors. Period of Performance is a five year period from the date of issuance. R13AF20008 will be posted on the GRANTS.GOV web site, at www.grants.gov, on or about March 8, 2013. The date for receipt of proposals is on May 13, 2013. The FOA must be downloaded at the above web site. No paper copy of this announcement will be distributed. Lack of registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database will make an applicant ineligible for award. Prospective recipients must be registered prior to award.
