Assistance will be provided only to the Egypt Ministry of Health and Populations (MOH). No other applications are solicited. The MOH is the most appropriate and qualified agency to conduct the activities specified under this cooperative agreement. The MOH is the only organization in Egypt that possesses the legal authority and primary responsibility within the Egyptian government to address public health issues and implement these activities at government entities. Additionally, the MOH has collaborated with CDC for many years as a key partner on a variety of public health projects. These combined attributes make them uniquely qualified as the only organization eligible in Egypt to implement the activities proposed in this cooperative agreement.
