Description
National Park Service Recovery Act Project - In the Alaska Region youth corps personnel will work with park personnel in the invasive plants management program in seven (7) Alaska Parks; Denali, Glacier Bay, Kenai Fjords, Klondike Gold Rush, Sitka, Wrangell-St. Elias, and Katmai. NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD: This award is being made under and existing cooperative agreement with Southeast Alaska Guidance Association incorporating the ARRA terms and conditions. The Southeast Alaska Guidance Association/Youth Corps provides corps members the opportunity to learn from resource management professionals and gain tangible skills and experience. Their technical capabilities and capacity to provide interns are ideally suited for the nature of this project.
