Description

The purpose of this program is to strengthen, expand, and develop pre-service and in-service training programs in the Central Asian Republics of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. The training program will focus on the three following areas: 1) pre-service training in universities and colleges which are training future health care providers for service in the public and private health sectors; 2) in-service training in universities and colleges, post-graduate institutes, or other training venues which are engaged in the training of current health care workers in the public and private health sectors 3) pre-service or in-service training of future or current laboratory workers within the public and private health sectors. It is possible that the pre-service and in-service training situation is different in every country, and applicants are expected to submit workplans tailored to the need of each country.
