EBiz POC Actions
The E-Business Point of Contact (EBiz POC) is an organization applicant who is responsible for the administration and management of grant activities for his or her organization, which includes authorizing Grants.gov roles. The EBiz POC is likely to be an organization's chief financial officer or authorizing official.
There can only be one EBiz POC per DUNS number, but a user who has the AOR role with the MPIN can also utilize the EBiz POC actions.
Important: The actions and steps outlined in the EBiz POC Actions help articles may be completed both by the "EBiz POC" and by the "AOR with MPIN."
In some organizations, a person may serve as both an EBiz POC and an AOR. In this situation, the person who is the EBiz POC will need to register with Grants.gov using a different email address, then, logged in as the EBiz POC, assign the AOR role to their other Grants.gov account.
The EBiz POC actions available on the EBiz POC Application Center are as follows:
Manage Applicants for Organization - Add, remove, and modify user roles, access, and account status.
Manage Certificates for Organization - Used to manage user roles in organizations using system-to-system web services to connect with Grants.gov.
Check Application Status for Organization - Find the status of applications submitted by your organization.
Manage Workspaces for Organization - Add, remove, and modify workspaces within your organization.
Manage Organization Profile - Set the organization's AOR Access Level setting.
Individual Applicants: If you are registered in Grants.gov as an individual (i.e., not applying on behalf of an organization), the EBiz POC Actions do not apply to you. Review the Grants.gov Variations for Individual Applicants help article for more information.
