Reset Password

If you forgot your password or need to unlock your Grants.gov account, the Forgot My Password/Unlock My Account link will direct you to the Reset Password page to help you log in to Grants.gov.

How to Reset Your Password or Unlock Your Account (Applicant and Grantor)

  1. Click the Login link in the upper-right corner of the Grants.gov banner.

  2. Click the Forgot My Password/Unlock My Account link that is located beneath the Username and Password fields.

  3. Enter your username in the Username field and click the Continue button.

  4. Enter the Temporary Code that was sent to the email address associated with your account, then click Continue. (Note: If you do not receive the code, click the Resend Temporary Code button.)

  5. Enter your new password and confirm it was entered correctly by re-typing it into the New Password Confirm field.

  6. Click the Submit button to complete the password reset process.

Note: Applicants, if you do not receive an email with a verification code from Grants.gov, please check your Junk or Spam folders in your email. If you do not find the email, call Grants.gov Support at 1-800-518-4726 or send an email to support@grants.gov for assistance. Grantors should contact their Grants.gov Program Advisors for assistance.

How to Reset Your Password or Unlock Your Account (EBiz POC)

  1. Click the Login link in the upper-right corner of the Grants.gov banner.

  2. Click the Login as EBiz POC button.

  3. Click the Forgot My Password/Unlock My Account link.

  4. Enter your DUNS or DUNS+4 and click the Continue button.

  5. Enter the Temporary Code that was sent to the email address associated with your account, then click the Continue button. (Note: If you do not receive the code, you click the Resend Temporary Code button.

  6. Enter your new password and confirm it was entered correctly by re-typing it into the New Password Confirm field.

  7. Click the Submit button to complete the password reset process.
