Assign or Revoke the Manage Workspace Role

The Manage Workspace role enables a Participant to create workspaces. Using the Manage Active Applicants page functionality, Workspace Participants with the Authorized Applicants (AOR) role have the ability to assign or revoke the Manage Workspace role from Participants who do not have the AOR role.

An EBiz POC, AOR with MPIN, or an AOR with expanded access can also manage role(s) to the applicants registered under their organization. Refer to the Manage Applicants help article for more information on this topic.

How to Assign the Manage Workspace Role

  1. Click the Manage Applicants link in the left navigation menu on the Applicant Center page.

  2. Under the Manage Workspace Role column, click the Assign link to assign the Manage Workspace role to the desired applicant. You can only assign/revoke the role for one user at a time.

  3. Grants.gov sends a notification email to the user who has been assigned the Manage Workspace role.

How to Revoke the Manage Workspace Role

  1. Click the Manage Applicants link on the left navigation menu on the Applicant Center page.

  2. Under the Manage Workspace Role column, click the Revoke link to remove the Manage Workspace role to the desired applicant. The Manage Workspace role cannot be removed from applicants who have an AOR role. You can only assign/revoke the role for one user at a time.

  3. Review the action confirmation message, then:

    • Click the Yes button to confirm the action to revoke the role.

    • Click the No button to cancel the action to revoke the role.
