Individual Applicant Registration

Individual Applicants can apply for opportunities from certain Federal agencies. If you work on grant applications on behalf of a company; state, local or tribal government; academic institution; or other type of organization, then you are not an individual applicant.

Individual Applicants should follow the instructions for adding an Individual Applicant profile as described in the Adding a Profile during Applicant Registration help article. By adding an individual applicant profile, you will apply for grants as a specific person and not on behalf of an organization.

The core actions for applying and submitting applications for Individual Applicants are the same as performed by Organization Applicants. However, you will not need to perform steps associated with applying for grants as a team or managing user access.
