Related Opportunities

When a funding opportunity is associated with other published opportunities on Grants.gov, a Related Opportunities link will appear near the top of the View Grant Opportunity page, next to the Opportunity Number. When searching for funding opportunities, all opportunities that are related to each other will show up in search results together.

Clicking the Related Opportunities link takes users to a pop-up window containing information about one or more related opportunities. Each related opportunity will be listed in a table with the following information: Opportunity Number, Opportunity Title, Agency Code, Posted Date, Close Date, and Relationship Comments added by the grant-making agency.

What is a Related Opportunity?

Related opportunities are tagged by grant-making agencies when they publish a funding opportunity announcement. The related opportunities may be from the same grant program, or they may have some other relevance that the Grantor chooses to highlight in the Relationship Comments column. Agencies may add or remove the relationship at any time after publishing the opportunity.
