Step 2: Complete a Workspace Package

The following instructions provide an overview of completing a workspace package. This process includes actions in Grants.gov, as well as your own application development and review processes outside of Grants.gov.

How to Complete a Workspace Package

  1. Add Workspace Participants to the workspace. Participants are colleagues and team members who will contribute to the developing the package and completing forms. This is an optional step, but most organization applicants work with a team to complete the application. For more detailed information, refer to the Participants Tab--Managing Participants help article.

  2. Complete all the required forms. You may fill out webforms or download individual PDF forms to complete your application. For more detailed information, refer to the Forms Tab--Managing Forms help article.

  3. Check the application for errors by clicking the Check Application button. For more detailed information, refer to the Check Application in Workspace help article.

  4. Complete the application and notify users with the Authorized Organization Representative (AOR) role that the application is ready for submission. If you have the AOR role, you will skip the notification step and proceed to submitting the workspace package. For more detailed inofrmation, refer to the Complete and Notify AOR help article.
