How to Sign Up for Grants.gov

You only need one account to manage everything—your applications, profiles, and subscriptions.

Applicants
To get started as a user:

• Fill out the form

• Confirm your email

• Sign in with Login.gov (or create a Login.gov account first)

• Add a profile if you're here to apply for a grant as an individual or part of an organization.

Has your organization applied through Grants.gov before? If not:

Grantors
To get started as a user, simply:

• Fill out the form.

• Confirm your email.

• If you need system permissions, provide your email address to your agency’s point of contact. They will set up your profile.

For saved searches, opportunity notifications or the Grants.gov newsletter you do not need a profile.
