Applicant Troubleshooting

The following list describes Grants.gov System to System (S2S) Error Messages. They are returned when the Web Services fail.

20 E_NO_OPPORTUNITY_FOR_AGENCY Could not find opportunity for your agency
21 E_ATTACHMENT_ERROR The following attachment error(s) were found:
22 E_INVALID_XML_USER_ID Invalid user ID in opportunity XML
23 E_NOT_AOR You are not designated by your organization to be an Authorized Organizational Representative
24 E_INVALID_USER_PASSWORD_ATTEMPT Please verify that you have typed your username and password correctly. Note: The password is case sensitive
25 E_USER_PASSWORD_EXPIRING Warning! Your Password will expire in
26 E_USER_LOCKED Alert! This account has been locked because three (3) consecutive unsuccessful login attempts were made. Please wait 15 minutes before attempting to submit an application
27 E_USER_PASSWORD_EXPIRED Alert! Your Password has expired. In order to submit your application you will need to change your password. After you have successfully changed your password submit the application package again
28 E_USER_INACTIVE Your account is inactive
29 E_SUBMISSION_INVALID_STATUS Only applications in the following status can be downloaded: Validated, Received by Agency, or Agency Tracking Number Assigned
30 E_NO_PROFILE_FOUND_FOR_USER_ID No Profile found for the specified User ID
31 E_NO_PROFILE_FOUND_FOR_USER_ID_AND_DUNS No Profile found for the specified User ID and DUNS
32 E_USER_LACKS_PRIVILEGE User lacks privilege(s) necessary to perform this function
33 E_INVALID_HEADER_VERSION Rejected due to discontinued support of Header-V1.0. Please use Header-V2.0
34 E_NO_DUNS_FOUND_FOR_USER_ORG Unable to determine the user's organization

The following list describes Grants.gov S2S Error Messages for all Web Services. They are returned when the Web Services fail for system errors.

SYS-1002 Failed to retrieve certificate from the HTTPS request
SYS-1003 Failed to load certificate account from LDAP server 
SYS-1004 Error retrieving Entity: {Entity} due to system error
SYS-1005 Error creating Entity: {Entity} due to system error
SYS-1006 Error updating Entity: {Entity} due to system error
SYS-1007 Error deleting Entity: {Entity} due to system error
SYS-1008 Error adding Entity: {Entity} due to system error
SYS-1009 Error replacing Entity: {Entity} due to system error
SYS-1010 Error removing Entity: {Entity} due to system error
SYS-1011 Cannot save file contents due to system error
SYS-1012 Cannot perform file virus scan due to system error
SYS-1013 Cannot upload file to Grants.gov because it contains a virus
SYS-1014 Failed to load Folder Zip data when attempting to delete Related Document file due to system error
